Great Girls Night Out!!
I was looking for fun night out with the girls, and could not make up my mind. We do dinner all the time, so I wanted something different. Going out dancing was on option, but again, very typical Saturday. I came across this dance studio and it sounded like such a cool idea! And you can get a great workout at the same time?? SOLD. So we booked a private party, for 15 girls. Most girls have a dream to express their kinky side, we lived it! The instructor was great and people were friendly. EDC Dance Company is awesome!

pretty cool and professional. I am so fond of Alyssah Williams, she is a very talented dancer, the way she moves is incredible. There is definitely a lot to learn from her for any level. We also like Alexandra San Martin, her lessons are so much fun and all my friends find her amazing and wonderful instructor. Natalie Lee is very nice and good for beginners, we only don't like that she is strict and doesn't let to play on the poles and practice even a little before or after the lesson, it's wrong.

EDC - my home away from home! 10/10/09
I've been taking pole dancing classes now at EDC for almost 4 months. I love it! Friendly staff and instructors, and they work with you and your abilities. I know how some one stated that the first course was very beginner, but it helps you get the basics down. After that class, it's been a real workout each class. Between spinning, climbing and dancing, you definitely get a great workout and leave the class tired but feeling great.
I'd recommend EDC to anyone you wants to excel in pole or exotic dance, or just wants to have fun, burn some calories and build confidence!

I was surprised to see some of the comments made about EDC on here. I told my friend how much fun I was having taking the classes and when she was doing some research about the school she came across this website. She called me and told me to look at the comments because they were contradicting what I was telling her. I have been going to EDC for a few months now and I feel it was the best decision I made. The manager is extremely friendly and the instructors are very knowledgeable on whatever class they are teaching. There are three dance studios, two bathrooms, and a changing room; all of which are clean at all times. I have never had any problems while attending, the schedules are flexible and the school with work with anyone if given enough time. I am now an intermediate student and plan on continuing until I am advanced. This is a great workout and I would recommend EDC to any and everyone.

I've decided to try pole dancing for both fun and as an alternative form of exercise. Someone recommended EDC to me and it's the most rewarding experience ever, especially for someone like me who is a beginner without ANY dancing skills! The pole dancing classes are excellent! The instructor is very skilled at teaching the fundamental techniques AND she is very patient (a very valuable asset that a good instructor should possess). I look forward to my pole dancing classes every week, my skills and confidence have improved greatly, the workout is awesome and I'm ready to upgrade to a higher level. Did I mention the Staff is very welcoming and wonderful? I will recommend this school 100% to anyone who's considering exotic dance lessons.

5 bachelorette girls + pole dancing = FUN!!! 02/05/08
We had a blast! I signed up 5 girls as part of our bachelorette NYC bash, and we all had a blast. Our instructor was very patient, knowledgeable and professional. She also allowed the bride-to-be to show off her newly learned pole dancing tricks by doing a quick performance for us, it was so fun! I would really recommend this to all types of women - shy/conservative/modest/wild etc.
It really helps bring out your inner sexx kitten and it's DEFINITELY a workout girls! Our arms were SORE for 2 days. I have a lot more respect for pole dancers now LOL Don't listen to the negative reviewers - it was fun!

If it's something you've always wanted to try, this is a great place to do it. What a great experience! We had a bachelorette party package and our instructor was Madame Teazz. It was a lot of fun and we definitely picked up some great moves! The instructors did a great job breaking things down and boosting our confidence to try the moves they demonstrated. They were professional and fun at the same time. Make sure the girls you go with have high comfort levels with one another because you definitely get close! A once in a lifetime experience filled with memories and laughs that will last a long time! (we were sore the next day and some of the girls had bruising just FYI). I am truly empowered by taking these classes. I float on air instead of walking!

We attended as a bachelorette party. We enjoyed every second of it. The instructor, Fellany was great. For it to be a beginner class, it was a little more intense than I thought it would be. I would definitely recommend this activity.

The Sexiest Me Ever! 02/28/2007
Ladies, I just finished 2 months of classes at EDC, and I am definately sexier than I have ever been. I find myself getting more attention just walking down that street...without platforms, than ever before. I knew that I would like the "exotic" workout because it seemed more fun than regular workouts. However, this does so much more for you. You learn to move and love your body like never before. I took the lapdance and goddess classes and saw not only myself, but my classmates transform. Those heels are MAGICAL. My teacher was awesome, and she had great music. The thing that I like the most was the lack of pretention here. Many are going to get rich off of "striptease workouts", that have celebrity appeal, but EDC will not be like that. I promise, any of you can go there and feel comfortable and like the sexiest you ever. I will never feel ashamed of my sexuality or my shape again, and if I do, I will just do the moves I learned here in my mirror and be reminded how hot I truly am.

Awesome Bachelorette Party 06/14/2007
I threw a Bachelorette Party for my cousin here & everyone (15 girls) had a wonderful time. We left with plenty of innovative moves, funny moments & pictures (no videos), and plenty of laughs. It was such a good time. Learning how to pole dance was intriguing. Our instructor (Teazz) was great. We learned techniques of lap dancing and stripping & it was well worth the money. We got the package with the refreshments & cake (try the strawberry shortcake) which was good since we needed a drink break every so often. It is hot in that room though, that's my only complaint. Also, don't get there earlier than the 30 minutes otherwise your large group will have no were to wait since their waiting area only fits about 5 ppl comfortably. It's a regular dance studio when you get there, but they have a backroom for private parties. You have to try it & you'll become hooked!

The studio was clean and professional. Thee wee about 12 women in the class. 10 of the 12 wee "every day" women and then thee were 2 others whom look like 50 year old professional strippers. The class lasted two hours and taught us everything from sexy dancing to how to taunt a man in his seat. My favorite pat was working the pole. It took much More upper body strength than I eve imagines but I could help help but feel so Demi Moore in Strip Tease. I highly recommend this class for the every day girl who wants to experience a fitness/toning class to make he feel sexy and have fun with friends.

I totally love this place. I have never taken a dance lesson in my life and after I began to gain weight I lost all confidence even in joining a gym. I attended the belly dance class for a trial and I had to stay for the entire 12 weeks session. Seema the instructor is so beautiful and so patient. She takes her time to teach new-commers as well as older students until they all get the moves correctly. She's always encouraging us and her stretches routine have not only gotten me in better shape, but have allowed me to move all of my muscles when I dance. I feel that the movements have helped me get in shape in just 2 months going once a week. I look forward to going to this class and I love her choice of middle eastern music. I have learned to make moves with my body I have never thought possible that I can, not only use it for belly dancing, but also for Reggae/Reggaeton, Hip Hop and others. I love Seema. She's a great instructor. I totally recommend the class and this studio because of how spacious it is (not to mention is a women-only school) and the fact that every student no matter how skinny or fat they are, no one feels pressured or ashamed to try these classes. Also the cost is very reasonable. You can buy 4, 8 or 12 classes for the level you're joining. They're also very flexible when it comes to rescheduling when and if given enough notice. Everyone that works there is really nice. I am sure I will continue to take classes there just because I feel so comfortable and after following Seema's instructions I do feel that one day I can dance just as good as she does.

Pole Challenge 11/22/2005
I took a pole dancing class for 4 weeks. I can not dance and weight 185lbs. I took this class because I wanted to tone up and I was tried of going to the overcrowded gyms. I took the class, scared and nervous. On the 1st day i felt the tightening of my muscles however was very sore. I continued on every week busting a sweat and feeling stronger. This class is a great work-out, fun and exciting. I am now taking intermediate classes with the intention of taking the advance level in January. There is no stopping me now I feel too good!

Women ages 18 and up are encouraged to come by and you would be surprised at who shows up....they even have woman who are in their late 60's sign up for the classes. The Greatest Addiction
I took the Strip Tease Dance Course. I have never taken a class that has made me feel so revitalized as I do. They have a beautiful dance studio. The staff treated me as if they knew me for years. The instructor was awesome, she helped me to get in touch with my sex goddess deep inside, gave me a hell of a work-out and enhanced my sensuality. I Now walk with my head higher with a sweet sex appeal feeling as if I’m floating on air. This class has really changed my life. I am truly addicted to this class and attend classes every Tuesday & Saturday. This is a class that every woman should take!
